Cornerstone Cooling & Heating is a licensed, insured, owner-operated heating and air conditioning company serving Denton and the surrounding North Texas towns. One truck, no call center, no commissioned salesmen.
Why we price the way we do
Most HVAC companies quote by the hour or make the number up at the kitchen table. Both put you and the technician on opposite sides — he is incentivised to take longer, or to find more. Flat-rate pricing out of a published book removes that entirely. The price for a capacitor is the price for a capacitor, whether it takes fifteen minutes or ninety, whether you are a first-time customer or a member, whether it is Tuesday morning or Saturday night.
It also means we have to be honest about what a job actually costs us, because we cannot make up the difference on the invoice afterward.
What being small buys you
The person who answers the phone is the person who shows up, and he is the same person who quoted the job. Nothing gets lost between a dispatcher, a salesman, and an installer, because there is only one of each and they are all the same person.
The tradeoff is honest: we cannot be everywhere at once, and on the hottest week of July we will be booked. When that happens we will tell you rather than stringing you along.

Cornerstone is a veteran-owned business, verified by the Texas Veterans Commission.
It is not a marketing line. The habits that came out of service are the ones this company runs on: show up when you said you would, do the job to standard whether or not anyone is watching, and tell people straight what you found. That is the same reason the prices are published rather than negotiated at your kitchen table.

Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation license TACLB156738E. We carry general liability insurance. Ask any contractor you are considering for their number — an unlicensed install is one you own the consequences of.
